I’m the intrepid traveler from Riga, Latvia, the one people mischievously nicknamed “the girl who travels the world.” Authenticity and discovery are the key words of my journeys, where I combine my passion for outdoor activities—from hiking to kayaking, surfing, and snowboarding—with an insatiable thirst for cultural exploration.
My globetrotting journey began in the historic alleys of Riga, before taking a decisive turn during my time in Greece after high school. This first experience abroad was the catalyst for a series of adventures that shaped my perspective on travel. My semester studying in Southern Spain opened my eyes to the richness of Mediterranean cultures, while my travels in Southeast Asia and the Philippines introduced me to radically different ways of life.
The year 2022 marked a turning point in my journey with a six-month odyssey across South America, followed by an equally intense immersion in Central America. These experiences allowed me to perfect my art of slow, authentic travel, far from conventional tourist circuits.
This blog, which began five years ago as a simple online journal to keep my family informed of my adventures, has naturally evolved into a platform for sharing and inspiration.
